Marc got the job he wanted!
Marc applied for a job as an investigator for a company that contracts with the government to do their background investigations. It’s something I think he will be good at, and something that he will enjoy. Unfortunately, the job also required acquisition of a Top Secret-level clearance, which we were unsure of his ability to get due to his status as a US/French dual citizen. In the end, he ended... ::A Geek in Korea:: >>
In my Freshman English classes today I had my first attempt at the “grade everyone’s homework in the middle of class” structure that I was attempting to do. After much deep thought and consideration, I've decided not to go with the phrase Crissy Snowflake. Please don't be too disappointed. Why the change of heart? It's just not Asian enough. The new phase shall be Clissy Snowfrake.See the subtle difference? Poor old Mr. Wonderful is very clever that way.One of my users suggested that Clissy Snowfrake should be used to signify boredom and ennui instead of injustice.Look.Nothing here is set in stone. And I see the possibilities.For...(Read whole news on source site)

Going Places >>
Tomorrow is my blog's three year birthday. Although I generally dislike metablogging (blogging about blogging for those of you less fancy-wording folk), my inspiration to write this last week has been lacking (maybe you noticed) because of another brief flare up of the ulcerative colitis and the return-from-travel blahs from my post-honeymoon reality shock. I feel that I'd like to take stock of what this blog is and how it's changed over the last three years.... (Read whole news on source site)
